page Minneapolis – SafeGrasp™ GardenArmor™ Garden Gloves, available
from SuperProtection, Inc., have been awarded the National Home Gardening Club
Member-Tested Seal of Approval. The announcement was made in the August/September
2005 issue of Gardening How-To Magazine, the club’s member publication. GardenArmor Garden Gloves offer an unprecedented level of protection from both cuts and punctures – injuries that regularly befall gardeners as they handle cactus, roses, and other thorny plants, move or replace pavers, lumber and broken glass or undertake hundreds of other outdoor chores. Garden club members participating in the test rated the gloves 9.8 on a 10 point scale for puncture protection. • “I will get rid of all my cheap gloves and wear these forever,” wrote one gardener who tested the GardenArmor Gloves. “No more thorns in my hands and fingers. I don’t know how I have done without them for so long.” • “I planted roses, moved lumber and worked in my garden and never worried about getting stuck with thorns or splinters,” said another. Earlier, controlled tests have shown that GardenArmor Gloves offer three times the cut and puncture resistance of leather gloves and 25 times that of knit gloves. While both tough and durable, GardenArmor gloves are also flexible, breathable and comfortable to wear. They are lightweight, contoured to the hand and flex easily, allowing natural hand and finger movement. “You forget you have the gloves on,” said one National Garden Club member. Even with long wear and repeated washing, GardenArmor Gloves maintain their effectiveness and comfort. They come in a variety of styles to meet the varying protection needs of gardeners. Key to the gloves’ performance is a new fabric technology, called SuperFabric® brand material. The patented technology significantly increases cut and puncture resistance by embedding a base fabric with tiny “guardplates” made of a hard resin. These tiny pieces of “armor” provide extraordinary resistance to cuts and punctures. GardenArmor Gloves last longer than competing products with little, if any, loss of performance. Gardeners save money by avoiding frequent glove replacement. Keeping GardenArmor Gloves clean is easy. Dirt and grime easily rinse away with water. Stubborn build-up, stains and odors can be removed by washing the gloves with a mild detergent in a washing machine. GardenArmor Gloves are UV- and chemical-resistant. Fading or deterioration due to sun exposure or contact with gasoline or oil is minimized To learn more about or purchase GardenArmor Gloves, visit www.safegrasp.com, e-mail information@superprotection.info or call 612-827-1580.
